Bric & Brac
One of the product categories sourced by Blue Ocean Textile is Bric a Brac. The company obtains these items through cooperation with charity organisations as well as via the Door 2 Door collection system.
These products are divided into two main categories. The first group includes items sourced from charity organisations – products that very often reflect the historical heritage of North East England and are distinguished by their uniqueness. The second group consists of articles collected through the Door 2 Door collection – more contemporary, practical, and widely available items. All items, regardless of their source, are reviewed through a quality control process. Products that do not meet the required standards are rejected, ensuring that clients receive only goods suitable for further use and resale.
Pallet liquidation
Another source of products is pallet liquidation. This process involves acquiring large batches of goods – often returned, unsold, or surplus stock – sold in the form of pallets. Purchasing such pallets makes it possible to obtain a wide variety of products at attractive prices. Blue Ocean Textile uses this model, in cooperation with e-commerce companies and DIY retailers, to provide clients with a broad selection of items originating from stock liquidations. As a result, clients gain access to a diverse range of products that can be reintroduced into both retail and wholesale markets.
